Departure instructions
In order to simplify the handing over of the keys, we kindly ask you to
- be ready to depart at 10am
- empty the trash cans
- remove the bed linen
- gather the towels in one place
- empty the fridge and freezer
- put back all objects of value (see inventory)
- not to leave dirty dishes
- empty the dishwasher
- fold up garden furniture
- rinse out the compost bucket
- ensure that the house is left in a clean and tidy condition
- return the house keys to the key box
If you have built a fire, please
- empty the bulk of the ashes into the compost
- replace any kindling that has been consumed
- make sure there are enough firelighters / matches left for the next ones
In the event of failure to comply with these instructions, the agency is entitled to charge a flat-rate fee for repairs.
